• Hobnob is a location-based chatting app that allows users to check-in into different venues (cafes, gyms, resorts, events... etc) through the Hangout - a chatroom to mingle with other guests within the location.
• Hobnob is the best way to allow users to find the hottest "Trending" Hangouts around town, where people can chat LIVE and share their experiences.
• Watch out! Some Hangouts are for private events, where only invited guests are allowed to enter. Jealous, right? ;)
• You can roam the map and look for your friends in their favorite cafe or eatery, then surprise them by showing up for more fun.
• Enjoying your time at an event that has a Hobnob Hangout? Invite your loved ones to join the fun by sharing the Hangout's link.
• Having coffee alone in your local cafe? Not a problem! Click on the cafe's Hangout and chat with the people around you. Tell them about your favourite drink, and ask if they've tried any good muffins!
• Each Hangout has 3 counters: "Roomies", "Ghosts" and "Check-ins". The Check-ins counter shows you all the users who clicked the Check-in button and are currently in the location of the Hangout. Roomies are the ones chatting in the Hangout's chatroom - both can have full access to other users' profiles. On the other hand, Ghosts are the users outside the location who can only view but cannot chat until they come to the location of the Hangout - and by then have full access to other users' profiles.
• While you are in the Hangout, you can have a look at the business's profile (Contact details, address, social media profiles, offers and rating).
